A group of animal rights activists, protested against bullfighting on
Monday in front of Mexico City's "Plaza de Toros."
Demonstrators held banners that read, "Animals have the right to live,
don't celebrate their pain and death" while aficionados entered the
premises of the arena.
The "Plaza de Toros" or bullfighting arena commemorated its 61st
anniversary on Monday.
Those against bullfighting shouted "assassins" and threw fake blood
like liquid in the streets in front of the arena to symbolise the
cruelty of the sport.
